James Coghlan is a seasoned communications professional specializing in the automotive and e-mobility sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Influence Associates since March 2022, James leads the planning and execution of multi-channel communications strategies for a diverse clientele, including major automotive OEMs and start-ups. Prior to this role, James held key positions at Edelman, where contributions included managing high-impact campaigns for Nissan Europe that garnered industry recognition. James developed expertise in automotive communications through various roles, including positions at Torque Agency Group, Pole Ltd, and involvement in motorsport PR and media. An early passion for motorsport was demonstrated as the co-founder and pundit of The Formula Fun Show during university years, complemented by foundational experiences through internships and editor roles in automotive publications. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Exeter.
