Alex Leong

Alex Leong is an experienced software engineer with a strong focus on full stack web and native mobile development. Currently holding the position of Software Engineer 4 at Influents Innovations and Oregon Research Institute, Alex has demonstrated leadership as a team lead and has managed project lifecycles while mentoring interns. Proficient in technologies such as Typescript, Vue 3, Ionic, and Firebase Cloud Infrastructure, Alex has progressively taken on more responsibilities, starting as a Software Engineer Intern, where skills in Swift for iOS applications were developed. Alex's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, completed in 2018. Prior work experience also includes a role as a Research Assistant at Cornell University and as a Foundry Worker for sculptor Peter Helzer.
