He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and is also an ACCA-certified chartered accountant.

A sports-technology enthusiast, Gopi also went on to acquire an MBA in sports management. He has played badminton at the national level in four tournaments and has been president of Killara Cricket Club in Sydney and New South Wales, Australia.
