Donatella Cavalli has an extensive career in research, currently serving as Dirigente di ricerca at INFN since 1977 and holding an Associato position at CERN since 1972. Throughout this time, Donatella has been actively involved in several key collaborations, including ATLAS, UA2, WA70, and Gargamelle at CERN, and was part of the Icarus collaboration at Università di Milano and INFN from 1996 to 2004. Educationally, Donatella obtained a degree in Fisica from Università degli Studi di Milano, where studies were completed from 1965 to 1970, following a secondary education at Liceo Galileo Ferraris Varese from 1960 to 1965.
