Ana Inés Echavarren

Ana Inés Echavarren has a strong work experience in various companies and positions. Ana Inés started their career at Ideasoft as a Programmer, Project Manager, and Consultant from 1993 to 2001. At Ideasoft Uruguay, they served as a Consultant and Project Manager, specializing in Business Intelligence and data-related projects.

In 2001, Ana moved to Infocorp, where they held several roles including Gerente de Desarrollo (Development Manager) from 2003 to 2005, Vicepresident Software Factory from 2005 to 2010, and Vicepresident Strategic Iniciatives from 2011 to 2012. In these positions, they led the implementation of processes and structures, expanded the software factories to Santiago de Chile and Colonia, Uruguay, and managed strategic initiatives such as marketing, pricing, sales, and product support.

Ana then became the VP of Financial Services at Infocorp from February 2012 to November 2015, before being promoted to the role of CEO in 2015, a position they currently hold. In their role as CEO, Ana is responsible for the overall management and operations of Infocorp.

Additionally, Ana has also been actively involved outside of Infocorp. Ana Inés joined Endeavor as a Board Member in May 2015 and became a Member of The Business Council of Latin America in September 2016.

Ana Inés Echavarren attended Colegio Richard Anderson from 1976 to 1988, where they completed their primary and secondary education. Ana Inés then studied at Universidad de la República from 1993 to 1998, earning a degree in Ingeniera en Computación. In 2001, they pursued an MBA at Universidad de Montevideo, completing it in 2002. In 2019, Ana Inés Echavarren attended Harvard Business School for a program on Scaling Entrepreneurial Ventures.
