George Porter

George Porter has been working in the tech industry since 1995. George began their career as a Programmer/Analyst at NeoSoft, Inc. in 1995. In 2001, they moved to UC Berkeley, where they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher. In 2010, they joined UC San Diego as an Associate Professor and Assistant Research Scientist. George is currently working as Co-Founder of inFocus Networks since 2018.

George Porter studied Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin from 1997 to 2001, earning a BS degree. George then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed in 2008.
