Chief Machine Learning Officer at Infocusp Innovations

Falak Shah has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Placement Coordinator for EC at NIRMA University from June 2012 to May 2013. They then worked as a Project Intern at Space Applications Center, ISRO from January 2013 to May 2013, where they focused on the GPS receiver system for IRNSS. From July 2013 to June 2015, Falak worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at DA-IICT. They then joined Infocusp Innovations, where they held various roles such as Research Scientist from June 2015 to December 2017, Lead Research Scientist from January 2018 to January 2020, Technical Program Manager in Machine Learning from January 2020 to March 2023, and currently as the Chief Machine Learning Officer since April 2023.

Falak Shah obtained a Master's Degree in ICT from DA-IICT in 2015, where they were a gold medalist. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nirma University in 2013. Falak's education began with a Higher Secondary Certificate exam in Science, which they completed at SNGV in 2009. In addition to their formal education, Falak has obtained several certifications, including Kaggle R Tutorial on Machine Learning from DataCamp, Machine Learning and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera, and edX Honor Code Certificate for Autonomous Navigation for Flying Robots, Image and video processing: From Mars to Hollywood with a stop at the hospital, Cryptography I, and Digital Signal Processing from Coursera. Falak also has a certification in Statistical Learning Theory from Stanford University.
