Mr Monsees joined Infomedia as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on 23 May 2022. He is an experienced leader with a strong acumen for growth by driving digital transformation, structural turnarounds, platform economy and strategy. He brings a large amount of energy, enthusiasm and engagement to motivate organizations to realize their potential.

Prior to joining Infomedia, Mr Monsees was CEO and Managing Director of WPP AUNZ, an international advertising & media company. He led the company to a strong increase in profitability in just 18 months. Before moving to Australia from Germany, Mr Monsees was Chief Digital Officer and Senior Vice President of Product and Corporate Strategy at BMW Group, where he implemented a digital transformation program. During 7 years at BMW, Mr Monsees was also the Global Innovation Manager and Global Brand Manager for MINI. For 6 years, Mr Monsees led the Google Automotive practice in Germany. Mr Monsees’ other career highlights include global CEO role for Arvato AG Solution Group Digital Marketing (part of the Bertelsmann Group) and senior innovation-based roles at Mondelez, Colgate Palmolive and Schwarzkopf & Henkel.

Mr Monsees holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kiel University in Germany.
