Tomaž Čop began his media career in 1991 as a sound technician on Radio Triglav, where he later also led the production of advertising content and broadcasts. In 2000, he took over the management of Radio Belvi, the first private radio station in Gorenjska. After only a few months, Radio Belvi became the most listened radio station in Gorenjska. In 2004, he became a member of the Management Board of the joint-stock company Infonet Media, where he holds the position of Executive Director. At Infonet media, he is in charge of production and music research. Tomaž Čop also takes care of the implementation of synergies between different radio programs. At the Faculty of State and European Studies, he obtained the title of Master of Science with his work Implementation of Music Quotas in Slovenian Radio Programs. Before embarking on his media career, he played drums in the music group Spekter for seven years.
