Jad Barakat

Jad Barakat is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in conference production and community management. Currently serving as a Senior Conference Producer at Informa Markets since October 2022, Jad oversees speaker acquisition, agenda building, and stage management for various events, including Leap and BlackHat MEA. Previously, as a Community Manager at Nucleus Ventures, Jad developed communication strategies to enhance brand awareness and foster collaboration with partners. With a solid foundation in content production from Arabnet, where speaker relations and event coordination were key responsibilities, Jad has also gained valuable skills in media planning and customer service through internships and early roles at OMD MENA, Damas Jewellery LLC, Christian Louboutin, and Donna Karan. Jad holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising - Communication Arts from Lebanese International University and a Baccalaureate in Socio-Economics from Saint Saverious College.
