Charleene Tom

Charleene Tom is an experienced conference producer at Informa Tech, having held the position since June 2022. Prior roles include a delivery driver for popular restaurants and takeaways while studying for degrees, and a Covid-19 mobile test site general operative with the NHS, where communication and adaptability skills were enhanced. Charleene has also contributed as an equality, diversity, and inclusion intern at the University of Essex, leading a project to increase student engagement among underrepresented backgrounds. As a sports engagement activator, Charleene successfully increased attendance in women’s basketball sessions by 650%. Additionally, Charleene has coaching experience with Ipswich Basketball Club and Basketball England from October 2014 to May 2019. Charleene holds an LLM in International Human Rights Law and an LLB in Law from the University of Essex.
