Heather McGeer

Heather McGeer has a diverse range of work experience. Heather is currently working as a Research and Policy Analyst at ICTC-CTIC starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Council of Canadian Academies / Conseil des académies canadiennes in various roles including Communications Coordinator and Communications Intern from January 2022 to August 2022.

Before joining the Council of Canadian Academies, Heather worked as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Ryerson University. Heather'sroles at Ryerson included supporting research projects and assisting with teaching in the fields of Strategic Storytelling and Intercultural Communication. Heather'stenure at Ryerson spanned from September 2020 to December 2021.

Heather also gained valuable experience in the field of marketing and communications as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at CivicAction from April 2021 to June 2021. Heather worked closely with the marketing and communications team, contributing to various initiatives and campaigns.
