Latifa Buhamood

Latifa Buhamood is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in information technology and systems enhancement. Currently serving as Chief of Systems Enhancement at the Information & eGovernment Authority since May 2015, Latifa leads the Sijilat System and has held various roles including Head of Systems Enhancement and Senior System Analyst, contributing to major national projects such as the National Notification System and Bahrain Elections Systems. With a background as a Software Engineer, Latifa developed systems and analyzed business requirements for national initiatives. Additionally, since January 2017, Latifa has served as an External Examiner for senior students at AMA International University of Bahrain, aiding in project assessments. Earlier experience includes teaching computer science at Arad Intermediate Girls School under the Bahrain Ministry of Education. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Engineering Management & Systems Engineering from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Bahrain.
