Darren Death

Darren Death has over 20 years of experience in the information security field. Darren is currently the virtual CISO at Information Systems of Maryland. Darren has previously worked as the ICIT (Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology), EC-Council, Evanta, a Gartner Company, American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC), and Institute of World Politics. In 2017, they authored a book on information security titled "Information Security Handbook: A practical guide to building an information security framework." In their book, Darren provides readers with best practices for building their own information security framework that is tailored to fit their organization's specific needs.
