Glenn Barry is the Chief System Architect at Information Systems of Maryland. Glenn has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, including stints at IBM and SoundWay Consulting Inc.

At IBM, Glenn was a Sr. IT Architect and was responsible for leading the Business Analytics & Optimization/Intelligence - Strategy & Analytics group. Glenn was also responsible for system design, capacity planning, web hosting, SOA, and capacity management.

At SoundWay Consulting Inc., Glenn worked on a Big Data Analytics/Data Governance initiative to develop a prototype for the Defense Intelligence Agency (Collibra s/w - Data Intelligence Cloud).

Glenn is a certified infrastructure and application architect and has a wealth of experience in transforming data into actionable insights. Glenn is a strategic thinker with a track record of successful project delivery.

Glenn Barry received their Master’s Degree in Engineering Sciences from GWU's Graduate School of Engineering & Applied Science at The George Washington University. Glenn also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Bio-Chem from Frostburg State University. In addition, they have received certification from IBM as an IBM Certified IT Architect.
