Ashley Berrang

EVP, Public Affairs at ITI

Ashley Berrang is executive vice president of public affairs at the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), overseeing media relations efforts, member communications, and digital outreach. She is responsible for the creation and implementation of communication strategies around ITI’s advocacy and policy priorities.

Berrang spent the past three years on Capitol Hill, serving as a senior aide to Senator Shelley Moore Capito. As her communications director, Berrang served as a spokeswoman, executed and led a comprehensive communications strategy utilizing traditional and digital media, and worked closely with her Republican and Democratic colleagues to advance key policy initiatives. She also served on the board of the Senate Press Secretaries Association.

Prior to her time in the U.S. Senate, Berrang was vice president of communications at the Bipartisan Policy Center, a Washington-based think tank committed to bipartisan policymaking. There she directed communications and marketing strategy for the organization’s policy programs and executive leadership.

Berrang is from the San Francisco Bay Area and a proud graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
