Terri O'Brien

CFO & SVP, Administration at ITI

Terri O'Brien is Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Administration at the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), overseeing the financial, human resources, information technology and administrative operations. In this role, she works closely with the President and CEO, other members of the executive team, and the Board of Directors to ensure the organization makes strategic financial decisions and operates in an effective and fiscally sound manner.

O'Brien was most recently the Vice President for Finance and Administration and Treasurer at Resources for the Future, a leading nonprofit research institution, where she led the accounting, finance, human resources, information technology, and administrative operations. Prior to her time at RFF, she served as the Chief Operating Officer at Independent Sector and as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration at BoardSource. She began her nonprofit career at World Wildlife Fund, holding progressively senior financial and operational roles during her 15-year tenure.

O'Brien earned a degree in Communications from Towson University and successfully completed the Uniform CPA Examination in Washington, D.C.
