Peter Carrescia

Peter Carrescia is a Co-Founder and the Head of Strategy & Business Development at goConfirm. Peter is also a Venture Partner at Information Venture Partners and held the role of SVP Strategy and Corporate Development at Wave HQ until it was acquired by H&R Block. Peter has a strong background in the fintech industry, having held positions such as President at NEXT Canada and Managing Director at OMERS Ventures. Throughout their career, Peter has been involved in developing investment theses, negotiating partnerships, and creating strategic growth opportunities. Peter holds a BMath degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Waterloo, as well as an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University.
