David Lapeña Gómez

David Lapeña Gómez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and research within the biotechnology and food technology sectors. Currently serving as Area Sales Manager at INFORS HT since October 2021, David oversees operations across Northern and Southern Europe, Turkey, and Africa. Prior to this position, David worked as a Research Scientist and PhD Student at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences, focusing on the production of yeast from spruce sugars for feed ingredients. David has also held research roles at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and the Technical University of Denmark. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology from NMBU, a Master’s degree in Food Technology from DTU, and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid. David is currently pursuing a Master's in Sales at Sales Business School.
