Dr. Caroline Dias Alencar

Dr. Caroline Dias Alencar serves as the Senior Director of Research Agenda & Development at Info-Tech Research Group since January 2019, where significant contributions include developing a project portfolio management system that enhances project visibility and integration, ultimately saving the organization substantial costs. Previous roles at Info-Tech include Director of Operations, managing a large research team across multiple countries, and Product Manager, emphasizing customer-centric research and product delivery. As President-elect and VP Communication of the Postdoctoral Association at Western, Dr. Alencar effectively represented postdoctoral scholars and enhanced community engagement. An academic background includes a PhD in Neuroscience from USP and a Bachelor's in Psychology from UFPB, along with certifications in Product Management from BrainStation. With experience in teaching, research management, and the founding of the Brazilian NeuroVision Association, Dr. Alencar has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented research at international conferences.
