Morten Lier Svendsen

Morten Lier Svendsen is an experienced professional with a robust background in data protection, compliance, and legal advisory roles. Currently serving as a Data Protection & Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer at Simployer Norge since May 2018, Morten has also been the founder of STAR Consulting since November 2008, providing IT and technology solutions to clients. Previously, Morten held senior advisory positions at The Norwegian Directorate of eHealth from February 2012 to April 2018 and served as a legal advisor. Additional experience includes a secondment at Helse- og omsorgsdepartementet, training at Simonsen Advokatfirma DA, and various roles at Nexans and Veidekke AS during summer employment. Morten's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Law from the University of Oslo and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from both the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Lewis & Clark College.
