Sorinel Cristescu

Sorinel Cristescu is a highly experienced software engineer with a robust background in cloud computing and graphical user interface (GUI) development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Infovista since April 2008, Sorinel specializes in building microservices using Java Quarkus, Java SpringBoot, Python, and Golang within containerized environments, and has developed a Correlation Engine for TCA alarms utilizing Camunda BPMN workflows. Previous experience includes a role as Senior GUI Developer at Sigma Systems Inc. in Canada, where Sorinel designed and implemented Workflow GUIs for a multimillion-dollar OSS system adopted by major telecommunications companies. Earlier work at CS Group in Romania involved leading a team in developing real-time software applications for various industries. Sorinel holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Craiova, along with additional training in UX design and web development.
