Jane Shen Atkinson

Jane Shen Atkinson has over 20 years of professional work experience. Jane Shen began their career in 1996 as a Marketing Manager at Salcon. In 1999, they became an IT Consultant at Accenture, where they met with clients and gathered requirements, designed, developed, documented and implemented programs to Accenture standards and procedures. In 2002, they became an IT Application Developer at the Department of Health in the State of Minnesota. In 2005, they joined Cummins Inc. as IT Director Program Leader – Corporate IT, where they led all aspects of IT programs and examined functional needs and oversaw planning/analysis, specification development, strategic planning and project management. Jane Shen also provided IT program management, leadership and guidance to project teams and ensured teamwork, high performance and commitment to excellent IT support world widely. Jane Shen then became IT Director Manufacturing Execution & Site Support - Filtration Business Unit, where they led Filtration Manufacturing IT application directions and support, including MES Data Collection, Maximo, CQMS (Metric Stream), EASE Central, NG Warranty, Proficy Visual SPC Server upgrading etc. Jane Shen also provided approval and qualification for Hardware and Software request in order to have good control of IT cost. Later, they became Senior IT Manager, Asia Pacific (APAC) - Filtration Business Unit, where they led Global IT program implementation in APAC, including Oracle EBS, PLM, Maximo, SCP, GPS, Visual SPC, World Wide Sales Analysis System (WWSAS) etc. Jane Shen actively engaged with APAC business leaders, business sponsors and process owners to identify IT needs and plans in order to implement effective IT solutions. In 2013, they joined InfoWorks, Inc. as a Business Consultant / Project Lead.

Jane Shen Atkinson has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management Information Systems, General from Tennessee Technological University, a Program Management degree from The George Washington University School of Business, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in International Finance from East China Normal University, and a degree in English Language and Literature, General from Nanjing Normal University. Jane Shen also holds certifications as an IT Project Management Coach & Trainer, an ORACLE Database Administrator & Professional, and a Six Sigma Green Belt & Sponsor.
