Javier Coitiño

Javier Coitiño has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Javier currently works at Infragistics as a Product Architect, a position they have held since January 2022. Before that, they were a Principal Software Engineer at the same company from May 2014 to January 2022. Prior to joining Infragistics, Javier worked at xperTools as the CEO from April 2007 to October 2010. Javier also held various positions at Buxis Corp, including R&D VP from January 2006 to March 2007, General Manager from December 2003 to January 2006, and Project Leader from January 2001 to December 2003. Before that, they were a Division Manager at ANC from February 1997 to December 2000. Javier has also worked as a Consultant at IBERSIS - Grupo Union Fenosa, a Developer/Researcher at ArTech - Genexus, and a Jefe de Depto. de Desarrollo at SINCO. Earlier in their career, they gained teaching experience at Escuela Superior Informatica de Maldonado, Escuela de Informatica, and INCO - FING - UDELAR.

Javier Coitiño completed their education in a chronological manner, starting with their undergraduate degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad de la República, which they pursued from 1986 to 1992. Following this, they engaged in a postgraduate program in Informatics Research called PEDECIBA at the same university in 1992. Later, in 2000, Javier pursued another postgraduate program, this time in Business Administration from Universidad de la República.
