Ilkka Tieaho

Ilkka Tieaho has a broad range of work experience, starting in 2004 with Ground Investigations for Espoon kaupunki. In 2005 they continued in this role with the same company. In 2006 they moved to Ramboll Finland Oy for a Ground Investigations role. In 2007 they joined Ramboll as a Junior Designer. In 2008 they started at Sitowise as a Head of Development, working intensively with BIM-workflow and digitalization in design and construction projects. Ilkka also held the role of Development Manager and Designer and Project Manager at Sitowise. In 2012 they became a Research Assistant at Aalto University School of Science and Technology. Finally, in 2019 they joined Infrakit as VP of Services and Customer Success, leading all Infrakit's Services and Customer Success teams.

Ilkka Tieaho attended Aalto University from 2007-2013, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering with a minor in Construction Economics and Management. Ilkka then returned to Aalto University from 2014-2015 to complete a Special Qualification Education (30 credits) in Infra BIM-design. Ilkka also holds a certification from Aalto University in Infra BIM - Special Qualification Education (30 credits).
