Debbie Bootyman

Debbie Bootyman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Debbie currently holds the position of Head of Business Operations at Infrastructure and Projects Authority since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Highways England where they held various roles. Debbie served as the Head Of Planning and Assurance - Communications and Corporate Affairs from April 2020 to January 2023, overseeing the delivery of targeted communications activity and managing several high-profile programs. Additionally, they were the Designated Funds Programme Manager - Innovation Fund from April 2017 to April 2020, responsible for managing a £150m capital innovation program and ensuring the delivery of value-added activity across the strategic road network. Before joining Highways England, Debbie worked at the Office of the Public Guardian from July 2011 to February 2015, where they held the role of Senior Business Improvement Manager / Head of CI. Debbie was responsible for developing and implementing the continuous improvement strategy and managing multiple priority initiatives across various operational locations. Prior to this, they worked at HM Revenue & Customs as a Contact Centre Manager from May 2006 to July 2011. In this role, they focused on reducing demand on national contact centers and implementing tailored debt management processes for customers in need.

Debbie Bootyman pursued their education in the field of Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Saint Margarets Sixth Form Aigburth. Debbie did not obtain a degree. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Requirements Engineering, IS Project Management, Modelling Business Processes, and Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner, from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Debbie attained these certifications in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
