Maria Panayi

Maria Panayi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Maria started their career at Sodexo as a Retail Salesperson from October 2015 to June 2018. In 2016, they joined the University of Sussex, where they held multiple positions. As the Vice President of the Economics Society, Maria assisted in administering and organizing academic and social events, including the Annual Economics Ball. Maria also served as a Student Ambassador, helping with open days and guest speaker events, and as a Student Mentor, providing academic support to struggling students. Currently, Maria works at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) as a Statistical Analyst and a Quality Assurance & Performance Insights Analyst since September 2020 and June 2022, respectively.

Maria Panayi completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Sussex from 2015 to 2019, earning a BSc degree in Economics. Prior to that, they attended Southgate School Sixth Form from 2013 to 2015, where they pursued A-Levels in Maths, Economics, and History. In terms of additional certifications, Maria obtained "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google in February 2020, and the "Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award" from the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme in September 2011.
