Selamawit Beneberu

Selamawit Beneberu is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the CEO and founder of Lunar Consulting Firm since June 2024, while also functioning as the Grant Program Manager for Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) since February 2024. With over a decade of experience at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Selamawit held key roles including component coordinator for the Higher Tier Electrification component and Senior Advisor, focusing on renewable energy and off-grid electrification in Ethiopia. Selamawit possesses a strong educational background, holding an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Addis Ababa University, alongside a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution.
