Lex Coors is a thought leader in the electric power industry with a focus on behavior, technology, and the Smart Grid energy systems. Lex is currently an Advisory Council Member at Infrastructure Masons and previously served as Managing Director of the USC Energy Institute. In this role, they established USC as a research leader in the electric power industry and grew linkages between individual research programs and other USC energy research programs. Lex also provided support to ongoing programs, including: CiSoft, the USC Smart Grid Living Laboratory initiative, the USC-Mitsubishi Electric Vehicle Demonstration Program, and the Induced Seismicity Consortium. Prior to their work at USC, Lex served as President of Walden Bromley Media, a bespoke storytelling company specializing in branding, content creation, video production, and search engine optimization.
Lex Coors has a Ph.D. in Sociology and Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California, a Masters in Sociology from the University of Southern California, a Masters in Social and Systemic Studies from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelors in Psychology from Florida International University. They also have a Certificate in Introduction to Computer Science from Harvard University.
