Ian McConachie

Ian McConachie is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and issues management. Currently serving as the Manager of Media Relations & Communications at Infrastructure Ontario since June 2013, Ian has developed streamlined processes for filming requests, managed public events, and created communication tools to enhance message delivery. Previous roles include Consultant at Toronto Community Housing, Media Relations & Issues Specialist at Metrolinx/GO Transit, Senior Communicator at the Toronto Humane Society, and Manager of Government Relations at the Insurance Bureau of Canada. Ian began a career in public service as an Issue Manager/Legislative Assistant for the Government of Ontario. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Dalhousie University.
