Michelle Michiels

Michelle Michiels currently serves as Acting Director of Data Governance and Analytics at Infrastructure Ontario since August 2023, where leadership involves the rollout of data strategy and management initiatives, including a data literacy program and metadata management. Michelle has been with the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services since August 2010, progressing through various roles, including Data Solutions Design & Data Governance Lead, where expertise in designing data solutions utilizing both on-premise and cloud technologies, such as Azure, is demonstrated. Previous experience includes roles at the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee and The 519, in addition to records management positions at OMERS and York University. Educational credentials include a Master of Information Studies from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Western Ontario.
