Darren O'Neill

Darren O'Neill has extensive work experience in the field of power electronics and engineering. Darren began their career as a Graduate Engineer at Transpower New Zealand in March 2014 and worked in this role until December 2014. From January 2015 to April 2019, they served as an HVDC & Power Electronics Field Engineer at Transpower New Zealand. Darren then progressed to the position of Service Delivery Manager HVDC & Power Electronics from April 2019 to January 2022. In January 2022, they joined Infratec as a Commercial and Technology Lead, where they currently hold this role.

Darren O'Neill completed their Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. In 2018, they attended Victoria University of Wellington, for which no specific degree or field of study is provided. Additionally, in July 2020, they obtained certifications as a Chartered Member (CMEngNZ) and a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) from Engineering New Zealand.
