Andreas Bäckman

Andreas Bäckman is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and finance. Currently serving as the Investment Director for Infrastructure at InfraVia Capital Partners since September 2025, Bäckman previously held various senior roles at Infracapital, including Director of the Stockholm office and Associate Director in the Origination and Execution team. Additionally, Bäckman has been a Non-Executive Director for EnergyNest and Recharge, as well as a Board Observer for GGE a. s. and Eteck. Prior experience includes working as an Investment Banking Associate at Barclays Investment Bank in the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure Team, where Bäckman gained significant transaction experience. Academic qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Industrial Economics from Nottingham University Business School.
