Barry Gock

Barry Gock is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in core banking modernization and solution architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Architect at ING Australia since July 2023, Barry previously held roles including Solution Architect at Bank of Queensland and Senior Solution Engineer at Macquarie Group, where leadership in migrating a legacy loan application to a private cloud environment was demonstrated. Barry's notable achievements at Macquarie include facilitating a scrum team, delivering a digital consent capability for the Panorama wealth platform, and significantly contributing to the largest core banking project in Macquarie's history. With a strong foundation in information technology from the University of Technology Sydney and a background in optometry from UNSW, Barry combines technical expertise with a diverse educational background.
