Eleni Pappas

Eleni Pappas is an experienced governance and compliance professional currently serving as the Governance and Controls Manager for Payments at ING Australia since September 2023. In this role, Eleni manages the Obligations Framework to ensure regulatory compliance in Retail Banking and Payments Services. Prior to this, Eleni spent over 18 years at ANZ, progressing through various roles including Associate Director of Payments Regulation, where responsibilities included overseeing compliance for International Payments and addressing compliance gaps. Eleni also held positions such as Senior Investigator, Account Manager, and Business Excellence Manager, focusing on investigations, customer support, and operational excellence respectively. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Resources from UNSW, obtained from 2004 to 2009, and completion of HSC at Queenwood School For Girls from 1991 to 2003.
