Richard Elliott

Richard Elliott has extensive work experience in the field of systems administration and technology operations. Richard most recently worked at ING Australia as a Lead Engineer, responsible for storage and compute. Prior to that, they held roles at Merivale, OMD Australia, Meat and Livestock Australia, Lloyds International, and Lloyds Banking Group. At Merivale, Richard served as the Technology Operations Team Leader and a Senior Systems Administrator, overseeing infrastructure projects, managing server and network operations, and providing support. At OMD Australia, they worked as a Senior Systems Administrator, providing administration and support for systems and network infrastructure across multiple locations. Richard also has experience in hardware deployment, asset tracking, and backup systems. At Lloyds International, Richard worked on a contract basis as a Systems Administrator, providing production support and addressing server capacity issues during a transition period. At Lloyds Banking Group, they served as a Windows & VMware Technical Specialist, supporting Windows and VMware infrastructure for users across the UK and overseas. Richard has a strong background in virtualization and has successfully implemented VMware infrastructures.

Richard Elliott attended the University of Plymouth from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a 2.1 (Hons) degree in BSc Multimedia, Production and Technology. Prior to that, they attended Maidstone Grammar School from 1995 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Richard also holds certifications as a CompTIA Server+ Certified Professional and a VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 4 (VCP4).
