Shilpi Basu

Shilpi Basu has worked in various leadership roles in the technology and risk management fields. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Capgemini Australia. Shilpi then joined Oakton Australia as a Senior Consultant from 2004 to 2007. In 2007, they joined the Royal Bank of Scotland Business as a Technology Manager and later became a Transformation Lead. Shilpi worked there until 2013. In 2014, they joined Commonwealth Bank as the Head of Technology for Customer Decisioning and later became a Program Director for GDPR Privacy. In 2019, they joined Macquarie Group as the Head of Technology for Non-Financial Risk and later held positions as Global DEI Lead and Head of Technology for Data & Risk Intelligence. Currently, they are the Head of Enterprise Tribe at ING Australia.

Shilpi Basu earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computing from the University of New South Wales.
