Bogdan Guran

Bogdan Guran has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Bogdan started their career in 1998 as the Head of Department at Banca Creditanstalt. Bogdan then moved on to Bank Austria Creditanstalt Romania, where they worked as a Clearing Agent. In 2002, they joined HVB Bank as a Bank Officer and later became an Operation Coordinator at HVB Bank and HVB Tiriac Bank. In 2007, they became a Branch Manager at HVB Tiriac Bank and UniCredit Tiriac Bank. Bogdan continued their career at Bancpost as a Manager, Branch Manager, and Compliance Officer. In 2016, they joined BCR as the Head of Retail Methodology & Support Unit. Currently, they are working at ING Hubs Romania as a Senior Process Design Officer and Principal MI- Robotics & Reporting.

Bogdan Guran has a diverse education history. In 1981-1985, they attended Liceul Alexandru Ioan Cuza Bucuresti, completing their high school education. Bogdan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in General Economy from Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti, which they obtained in 2006. In 1986-1996, Bogdan earned an Engineer's Degree in Propulsion Systems - Aeronautics from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Additionally, they received training in Business Administration from Harvard Business Publishing (HBP) in 2008-2009 and completed a course in Project Planning and Control from Total System Education Ltd in 2008. In 2014, they received the Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) certification from the Romanian Banking Institute (RBI).
