Cristina Iacobescu

Cristina Iacobescu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the legal field and data protection. Cristina currently serves as the Data Protection Officer & Chapter Lead Data Protection Services at ING Hubs Romania since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Data Protection Officer at the same company from August 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining ING Hubs Romania, Cristina worked at Reff & Associates SCA, member of Deloitte Legal, where they held the position of Senior Associate from September 2018 to August 2021 and Associate from November 2016 to September 2018.

Cristina also gained valuable experience as an Associate at CMS Cameron McKenna from December 2014 to November 2016 and as a Junior Lawyer from October 2013 to December 2014.

Cristina Iacobescu has a Master's Degree in International Business Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universitatea din Bucuresti, Facultatea de Drept, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Cristina also attended the National Computer Science Highschool "Tudor Vianu" from 2004 to 2008, although no degree is specified. Additionally, they hold the certification of Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) from The International Association of Privacy Professionals, which they obtained in February 2018.
