Rocío Peñaranda

Rockie C. is a highly experienced Program Manager at Lonza since March 2023, overseeing multidisciplinary project teams in clinical manufacturing of biologics and fostering global collaborations. Previously, Rockie served as a Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., from June 2021 to March 2023, leading product development and automation for genomics-based diagnostics while contributing to peer-reviewed literature on biomarkers in kidney transplantation. Before that, positions included Senior Scientist at Senti Biosciences, where Rockie acted as the technical lead for gene therapy initiatives, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles. Rockie's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
