Fred Turkenburg

Fred Turkenburg has over 40 years of experience in banking and finance, primarily with ING Bank NV, where employment began in 1987. Currently serving as the Operational Risk Manager at WB ORM Global Financial Markets and Group Treasury, Fred oversees the Corporate Actions group, Midoffice Lending, and the General Issuing Program group. Past roles include Head of Bank Treasury Clearing, Head of Fails, Claims, Investigations & Payment Services, and Manager Projects Services & Control a.i., among others. Prior to joining ING, Fred held positions at Banque de Suez Amsterdam from 1981 to 1987, including Manager Operations FX/MM Arbitrage and Senior Operator IT Support.
