Matt Johnson

Matt Johnson possesses extensive experience in information security, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Tech Security at ING since May 2025. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Group CISO at Planet from August 2023 to June 2025, and was the CISO at Ledger from November 2020 to May 2023. Additional roles include Security Advisory (Group CSO) at Ingenico, Global Chief Information Security Officer at WTW, and Director of Cyber Security at Visa. Matt began a career in security with Accenture as a Senior Manager and served as Regional Manager for Global Security Services at Computer Sciences Corporation. Matt earned an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London.
