Svetlana Polenkova

Svetlana Polenkova is an accomplished professional in the field of data science and credit risk analysis, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist specializing in model validation at ING since July 2020. Prior to this role, Svetlana held the position of Credit Risk Researcher at ING Nederland from November 2013 to June 2020 and served as a Credit Risk Implementation specialist at Rabobank between July 2012 and October 2013. Svetlana began their career as a Researcher at the University of Twente from March 2008 to June 2012, after which an IT Analyst role was undertaken at Czech Home Credit & Finance Bank from November 2006 to February 2008. Svetlana completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente in 2012.
