Ashley Shewmaker

Ashley Shewmaker has worked in the optometry field since 2011, beginning as a Certified Optician and Optical Manager at Vision One Eye Care. In 2016, they transitioned to Destinations Consulting as an Optical Retail Consultant. In 2022, they began working as a Consulting Software Engineer at Ingage Partners and an Academic Fellow at Tech Elevator.

Ashley Shewmaker's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Creative Writing / Philosophy from Northern Kentucky University between 2008 and 2013. Ashley also obtained a Certificate of Dispensary Management from Essilor of America Inc in March 2014, and a Certified Optician from the American Board of Opticianry in September 2011. Currently, they are enrolled in a Java Web Application Development Bootcamp at Tech Elevator.
