Pierre Colombe Dromel

Pierre Colombe Dromel has extensive experience in the field of research and academia. Pierre is currently the Co-founder and CEO of InGel Therapeutics, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, Pierre worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Schepens Eye Research Institute from September 2021 to September 2022. Pierre also served as a Graduate Researcher in the Young Lab at the same institute from September 2017 to October 2021, conducting their Ph.D. thesis research in collaboration with MIT and Harvard Medical School.

During their time at Harvard Medical School from September 2017 to October 2021, Pierre worked as a Graduate Researcher in the Spector Lab, under the guidance of Myron Spector and Alfredo Alexander Katz. Their research focused on biomaterials and tissue engineering. Following this, Dromel attended Imperial College London for a year, from 2016 to 2017, where they obtained a Master of Science degree focusing on Neurobiology and Neurosciences. Dromel continued their academic journey at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2017, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. Their PhD research at MIT was on Stem Cells and the Program in Polymer and Soft Matter. Dromel's education journey spans from 2013 to 2021, consisting of a combination of Materials Science, Neurobiology and Neurosciences, and Stem Cells and Program in Polymer and Soft Matter.
