Christian Rivera Prosper

Christian Rivera Prosper has a diverse and extensive work experience. Christian is currently employed at Ingenia Health as a Software Engineer 1, starting in February 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Nagnoi, LLC as a Software Engineer from July 2020 to February 2023. In this position, they analyzed and validated large data sets, evaluated the performance of various portals, and assisted in the development of catalogs and forms.

Before their role at Nagnoi, LLC, Christian worked at Centro de Enriquecimiento Profesional (CEP) as a Web Designer from January 2019 to June 2020. Christian also interned as an Oracle Database Manager at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from May 2019 to August 2019.

Christian's earlier experiences include roles as a Web Designer at CREST Phase-II UPRM from February 2018 to May 2019, a Web Developer at OMS Research Group from September 2015 to May 2017, and President of Material Advantage UPRM University from August 2016 to January 2017.

Additionally, Christian has worked at the College of Engineering - UPRM in various positions. Christian served as an Assistant (Estudio y Trabajo) from September 2014 to July 2015, an Undergraduate Research Assistant from July 2013 to July 2015, and a Research Assistant Mentor in June 2015. Their research work involved expanding the applications of polymer chitin through the use of CNTs as reinforcement and mentoring middle and high school students in a CREST-supported lab.

Finally, Christian held a brief role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Adsorption of CO2 in Nanoporous Materials at the College of Engineering - UPRM in June 2011.

Overall, Christian has acquired considerable experience in software engineering, web design, database management, and research throughout their career.

Christian Rivera Prosper began their education journey by earning a High School Diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician from “High School Dr. Pedro Perea Fajardo 'Puerto Rico'" in 2013. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from 2013 to 2020. Additionally, Christian obtained a Minor in Project Management from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from 2019 to 2020.
