Jason Stein, MD SFHM

Jason Stein, MD SFHM has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jason is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Ingenious Med, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the President at Centripital since August 2012. Jason also has experience as a Hospitalist at Emory Healthcare, starting in March 2020.

In addition, Dr. Stein was the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of 1Unit from June 2014 to December 2022. Jason has also worked at Emory University School of Medicine, where they held positions such as Director of Quality & Clinical Research from September 2007 to May 2014, and Associate Vice Chair for Quality from March 2010 to December 2013.

Furthermore, Dr. Stein has served as a Hospitalist at Emory Healthcare from July 2001 to May 2014. Jason also worked as a Hospitalist from January 2006 to December 2005. Jason has held various roles at the Society of Hospital Medicine, including Director of Quality Improvement Course from April 2006 to May 2010, and Web Editor from January 2003 to December 2006.

Dr. Stein's work experience also includes being an Innovation Advisor at the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services from January 2012 to December 2012. Jason co-founded Ingenious Med, a healthcare start-up focused on revenue optimization, workflow, and data analytics, in July 2001.

Jason Stein, MD SFHM completed a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of Virginia from 1989 to 1993. Jason then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Emory University School of Medicine from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they joined the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, Jason Stein, MD SFHM holds a certification in Internal Medicine / Hospital Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
