Mikaela Vallas began their career in 2015 as an Assistant Camp Director for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County. In 2018, they joined Ingenious Targeting Laboratory as a Scientific Project Manager/ Genotyping & Screening Supervisor, and later moved into the role of Scientific Project Manager and Genotyping Technician.
Mikaela Vallas attended Roger Williams University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and Biology. Mikaela then attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2020 to 2021, where they earned a Master's degree in Biotechnology.
