Kieres Silver

Kieres Silver is an experienced educator specializing in literacy, currently serving as a Literacy Specialist at Ingenium Schools since August 2024. Kieres has previously held various positions at KIPP SoCal Public Schools from July 2019 to July 2024, including Reading Interventionist and Fifth Grade Teacher, and contributed as the Founding Fourth Grade Teacher. Prior experience includes teaching 5th grade English at Excel Academy Public Charter School and working as a Match Corps Tutor at Match Education, where Kieres designed math tutorials and facilitated enrichment activities. Additional roles have included a Second Grade Assistant Teacher at Lower Merion School District, private tutoring, and coordinating a book group at Riverside Correctional Facility. Kieres holds a Master’s degree in Effective Teaching from the Charles Sposato Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College, complemented by a study abroad at King’s College London.
