Glenn Huang

Glenn Huang has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to the present. Glenn started their career as a Lower Elementary Assistant Teacher at Durham Public Schools, where they supported a lead teacher in a Montessori classroom and provided instruction to students. In 2018, Glenn joined Teach For America as a DC Corps Member and later served as an Accelerate Fellow, consulting with educational organizations on policy and strategy. Glenn recommended policy improvements for school districts and developed financial databases and improvement strategies.

Glenn also worked at Ingenuity Prep, where they held multiple roles, including 5th Grade ELA Teacher, ELA Content Lead, Elementary School Interventionist, and 4th Grade Teacher. In these positions, they implemented novel-based curricula, led the shift to virtual learning during the COVID-19 outbreak, and helped their students achieve outstanding academic performance and growth. Glenn also founded the student council and organized community events.

Additionally, Glenn served as a Web Development Instructor at Kode With Klossy and a Summer School Teacher at Mastery Charter Schools. Glenn also gained experience as a Tennis Coach at James B. Conant High School and as a Contributing Writer for Our Sports Report. Furthermore, Glenn co-founded the Junior Writer's Games at The Writer's Workout.

Glenn Huang completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Education from the Johns Hopkins University School of Education. Glenn attended the program from 2019 to 2021.
